I am a licensed clinical social worker. I earned my master’s degree from Hunter College School of Social Work and completed two years of advanced training from the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies. I have additional training in couples therapy, perinatal mental health, child-parent psychotherapy and the impact of trauma on sexuality. Before beginning private practice, I worked at Beth Israel Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry and mental health clinics at Union Settlement Association and the LGBT Community Center. At the Center, in addition to providing individual therapy, I ran support groups for gay men newly diagnosed HIV+, people suffering from chronic depression and anxiety, and queer identified immigrants.
